Older pool surfaces and staining
Plenty of Pembroke Pines pools have been in the ground for decades. Aging plaster and marcite become slightly porous, which makes them hold stains and give algae somewhere to anchor. Brushing is not cosmetic on these surfaces — it is what keeps spots from setting in between visits.
We also watch for metal staining and scale, both of which show up more readily on older finishes when pH and alkalinity are allowed to swing.
