South Florida pools run year-round. Heat, rain, debris and chemical demand never fully pause, and the local conditions around your property shape what your pool needs.
Pools closer to the ocean deal with salt air and steady breezes. Salt air is hard on metal parts at the equipment pad, and wind carries sand and fine debris into the water and the skimmer. Regular equipment checks and waterline brushing help keep both under control.
Summer downpours can add a lot of water to a pool in a short time, lowering sanitizer and shifting pH and alkalinity. After heavy rain, water level and chlorine readings are the first things we check, because a diluted pool in warm weather can turn cloudy or green within days.
Hollywood has many homes that are lived in part of the year or rented out. If no one is home to keep an eye on the pool, it still needs regular service. We offer vacation pool care for periods when a property is empty, and send service updates so owners and property managers have a record of each visit.
